The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Villanova University invites applications for the position of continuing non-tenure track with the rank of Assistant Professor in Spanish to teach undergraduate courses. The appointment is expected to begin in August 2018.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to teach introductory-level Spanish language courses, contribute to the coordination of multiple sections of introductory-level language courses, demonstrate a strong commitment to developing the language program, and contribute to shared governance with service.
Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the most current language and culture pedagogies, applied technologies, and visual literacies. PhD and native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English are required.
