The Department of Philosophy at Tufts University seeks to hire an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy of Mind and/or Philosophy of Cognitive Science, to start in Fall 2026. Duties include teaching and advising at the undergraduate and master's level, and service to the department and university. The normal teaching load is two courses per semester. In addition to contributing to the Department of Philosophy's BA and MA programs, the successful candidate will contribute to interdisciplinary programs including the BA/BS program in Brain and Cognitive Science and the PhD program in Cognitive Science.
