Expertise: My work focuses on writing creatively and teaching creatively. I aim to teach students to pay attention to the sensory and the strange, and to develop clarity in their writing.

I am particularly interested in Absurdist, Surrealist and Magical Realist writers, as they work towards changing the rules of logic.

I have published poetry in journals (Minarets, Takahe, Catalyst and Turbine) and as part of The Hellfire Anthology (2019). I will be releasing my book for young children (Wilbur's Walk) in 2020. I am also a regular performer of poetry in Christchurch.

I currently teach into: ENGL 118, ENGL220 and WRIT 403
