Online First Year History Web Courses that cover material from the fall of the Roman Empire through to the Renaissance, Reformation, Scientific Revolution and Enlightenment;the second term course then begins with The French Revolution,(with a focus on both the Terror and Napoleon), through to the role of nationalism in the 19th Century and its transformation into fascism in the 20th. There is a special focus here on the development of the totalitarian mentality, be it in The Terror or in the 20th Century.
