Expertise: Er teaching and research interests include post-1945 diasporic, postcolonial and transcultural writing, theories of spatiality, Jewish identity in contemporary cultural discourse, and literature/film representing the Shoah. She also has a strong interest in translation studies—tackling broader questions with regard to how we understand, translate and mediate cultural differences
