His principal research interests involve the narrative poetics of literary genres of the imaginary (utopia and science-fiction). His work explores such approaches as the national allegory, metaphor and questions of agency and alterity, these, according to the socio-political and techno-cultural conditions of the fictional world(s) and, by extension, as extrapolated visions of the cultural context in which the works were produced.
