My research focuses on the history of science (including alchemy) and medicine in early modern Europe, particularly England, France, and Italy. Everyone who knows me is well aware of my passion for learning and reading. My latest venture entailed a comparative social and cultural history of medicine in England and China during the early modern period. Currently, I am exploring how religion affected the practice of medicine during the English Reformation.
